Proverbs 10:30/NIV - "The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land." Isaiah 65:24 - ?And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.? Lamentations 3:22-23 - ?It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. ? Jeremiah 29:11-13 -        " For I  know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give  you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon  me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when  ye shall search for  me with all your heart."   2 Peter 3:9 -   "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men  count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Philippians 4:6-7 - "Be careful  for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. " Revelation 1:3/NIV - "Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near."   (Revelation 1:3/NIV) Hebrews 13:8 - ?Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.? Jeremiah 17:7 - "Blessed is the man  that  trusteth  in the LORD, and whose hope  the LORD  is."

Prayer " Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as a friend." " Prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven's storehouse, where are treasured the boundless resources of Omnipotence." To whom are we to pray? "O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come" (Psalm 65:2) How willing is God to hear our prayers? "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Matthew 7:11). Why are we admonished to pray? " Seek the Lord while he may be found.  Call ye upon him while he is near" (Isaiah 55:6) What posture are we to assume when we pray? " O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker" (Psalm 95:6). In whose name are we to pray? " And whatsoever ye shall ask in my [Jesus'] name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13). What did Jesus say about secret prayer? "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly" (Matthew 6:6) What example did Jesus leave us regarding the need of secret prayer? "And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone" (Matthew 14:23)
