Proverbs 14:29 - "A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly." 2 Peter 3:9 -   "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men  count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Ecclesiastes 3:1.11 - ?To every   thing there is a season, and a time to every  purpose  under  the heaven. He hath made   every thing beautiful  in his time:  also  he hath set   the world  in their heart,  so that  no   man  can find out   the work that God  maketh  from the beginning to the end.? 1 John 4:19 - "We love because he first loved us."NIV Isaiah 65:24 - ?And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.? Jeremiah 17:7 - "Blessed is the man  that  trusteth  in the LORD, and whose hope  the LORD  is." Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Isaiah 43.2 - When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire,thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Romans 8:35, 37-39 - "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Matthew 20 - Mat 20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which went out early in the morning  to hire  laborers into his vineyard. Mat 20:2 And  when he had agreed  with the laborers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. Mat 20:3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, Lamentations 3:26 - ?It is good that a man should both hope  and quietly wait  for the salvation  of the LORD.? Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Psalm 37:5 - "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Revelation 1:3/NIV - "Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near."   (Revelation 1:3/NIV) Col 4:2 - "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving " Lamentations 3:22-23 - ?It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. ? Philippians 4:6-7 - "Be careful  for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. " Jeremiah 29:11-13 -        " For I  know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give  you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon  me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when  ye shall search for  me with all your heart."   Psalm 28:6-7 - "Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him." John 3:16 -  "For God so loved the world,that he gave his only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have ever lasting life." Psalm 23 - A Psalm  of David.    1.The LORD  is my shepherd; I shall not  want.  2.He maketh me to lie down  in green  pastures:  he leadeth  me beside the still  waters.  John 11:25-26 - "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me,though he were dead, yet shall he live.  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" Proverbs 10:30/NIV - "The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land." (Proverbs 10:30/NIV) Psalm 46:1 - "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in truble."  2 Corinthians 9:7 - "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." Proverbs 22:1 - "A good  name is rather to be chose  than grea  riches, and loving favor rather than silver  and gold." Philippians 4:13 - ?I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.?    Psalms 143:10 - "Teach  me to do thy will; for thou  art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud.It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, But rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, Always hopes, always perserveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) Isaiah 26:3 - "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Ephesians 6:10-11 - "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. " Revelation 3:20 - ?Behold,  I stand  at  the  door,  and  knock:  if  any man  hear  my  voice,  and  open  the door,  I will come in  to  him,  and  will sup  with  him,  and  he  with  me.? Luke 6 :38 - "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

What is a Christian ?

If a Christian is Christlike,then one is : Caring  Happy Respectable Industrious Sincere Tolerant Inspiring Amiable Neighborly. There are many superlatives that can be used to describe a Christian. It doesn?t matter which ones we use as long as we remember that we are followers of Christ. And that means we will try every day to pattern our lives after His life, doing what He would do in any unpleasant situation in which we may find ourselves. We will be more sensitive to those in need. We will share another?s burdens. We will be less eager to judge and more willing to forgive when we take Jesus as our example.  In answer to the question ?What is a Christian?? E.McKenzie puts it this way: A Christian is a mind through which Christ thinks, A heart through which Christ loves, A voice through which Christ speaks, and A hand through which Christ helps. Had I remembered that Christ is always near to help, comfort, and cheer, looking for the answer would not have been necessary. Lord, let me be a mind, heart, voice, and hand that You can use today.
